Our program is ultimately geared towards the completion of a thesis that makes an original and significant contribution to the advancement of art historical knowledge. Theses are deposited at the student’s home university, publicly defended, and evaluated by a jury whose membership is ratified by the Interuniversity Doctoral Program committee.
