Docinter – Call for proposals

Dear all,

The members of the Interuniversity PhD committee will soon be planning activities for the 2021-2022 academic year and we would like to hear suggestions from our students. Do you have an idea for a project or an event that would enrich our intellectual community? We are interested in activities that will be organized and managed by the students of the program.

We have a maximum budget of $2500 to fund various projects next year. We are open to one-day events, but also to large-scale projects, such as the speakers series What art histories for Present Times? proposed this year by our colleague Diogo. Given the uncertain health situation for next year, we encourage both online and face-to-face activities.

If you have any ideas to submit, send us a short proposal of 200 to 300 words. Please add a few lines justifying the estimated budget for the activity. Also note that you must include your projected work hours (at your university’s rate) in the budget.

If possible, please send your suggestion by May 9 to Professor Kristina Huneault at the following address: kristina.huneault@concordia.ca

We would also like to remind everybody that if you have a great idea for a project/event during the school year, you can write to us at any time to submit it.
