CALL FOR PAPERS – The Hypothèses organizing committee welcomes Master’s and Doctoral students from Quebec universities to submit a proposal to participate in the second edition of its podcast entitled [Annexes]. Deadline for submission: January 5th, 2021.

This bilingual podcast series, hosted by Pascale Tremblay (Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal), invites young scholars to share their research with the general public, and reflect on the importance of the discipline of art history in today. Each 30-minute episode will provide a discussion space between two graduate students on the topics and methodologies structuring their thesis; on the relevance of art historical graduate studies; on the status of academic or institutional professionals, and/or on the social and political issues that challenge research in the field of the arts.

This year we propose to discuss around one of these four thematics :

Art and Failure(s): What Does it Contribute to the Discipline?

Art and Law: Trangression(s)

Art and Reality: Mechanics of Doctored Images

Art and Objects: Multiple Memories?
