EVENT – The Hypothèses team is delighted to invite you to the launch of its new podcast series [Annexes], which will take place on January 15, 2020, at 5:30 pm at the Lounge of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (1380 Sherbrooke West, J.-N. Desmarais Pavilion, level 2).

In addition to our scheduled conferences of the evening, we will highlight the streaming of our first episode entitled « Art and Instagram: Rethinking gender identity? » For a sneak peek of the podcast, listen to our official trailer : http://conferences-hypotheses.org/annexes/

This podcast series invites young scholars to share their research to the general public, and to reflect on the importance of the discipline of art history in today’s society. Each episode provides a discussion space between two graduate students on the topics and methodologies structuring their thesis, on the relevance of art historical graduate studies, on the status of the actors from academic or professional institutions, or on the social and political issues that challenge research in the field of the arts.
