Don’t miss a unique opportunity to experience the “No Outsides” Summer Institute (a 3-credit summer 2023 course) which will be held from June 1 to June 14, 2023 at the downtown campus of Concordia University.
“No Outsides” will give you the chance to engage with a diverse range of scholars, artists, filmmakers and thinkers from Canada, the USA, Mexico and Italy who are committed to exploring how the underground arts can instigate spaces for pluralism.

The Institute proper will be held on June 1, 2, 5, 12, 13 and 14 (coffee, snacks and lunch are all included!) in the EV building at Concordia University.
And, between June 6 and 9 you’ll be attending and moderating paper sessions at the bi-annual conference of the International Society for Metal Music Studies as part of your assignments for the Institute. You’ll also benefit from the myriad panels, film screenings, workshops and musical performances being orchestrated in the LB building of Concordia University as part of the conference.
