January 31, 2022 By admin

LECTURE – The fifth session of the season 21/22 of Hypotheses will take place on Wednesday February 16 at 5:30 p.m on Zoom

Session #5 – Creuser les marges de l’histoire

Entitled « Creuser les marges de l’histoire : Carving the Self », this session will feature lectures by Marie Ferron-Desautels, (PhD, Concordia) « Miss Mary Stokes, pseudonyme du caricaturiste James Gillray ou dessinatrice oubliée? » and Véronique Hudon (PhD, UQAM) « Refus global contemporain : les marges de l’histoire des automatistes ». The session will be chaired by Louise Vigneault (UdeM).

Hypotheses is a bilingual lecture series by and for graduate students in the history of art, with the aim of stimulating and disseminating emerging research in the discipline. Each session provides a platform for two panelists for a conference of approximately 20 minutes each, followed by a period of questions and discussions mediated by a session chair.
