Announcing the Inaugural Afrofuturisms Research Collective (ARC) Public Lecture Series 2020-2021!

CONFÉRENCE – The Afrofuturisms Research Collective (ARC) presents the inaugural ARC Public Lecture Series 2020-2021. ARC is a student-faculty research collective in the department of art history and supported by the Concordia University Research Chair in Ethnocultural Art Histories.

Featuring presentations by Dr. Joana Joachim (Sept. 23), Ashley Raghubir (Sept. 30), Ojo Agi (Oct. 7), and Olivia McGilchrist (Nov. 4), the ARC Public Lecture series brings together scholarly and artististic perspectives on Afrofuturism in contemporary art. All talks begin at 1pm EST.

All presentations will take place via Zoom.
