LECTURE – Third talk of the Montreal’s Interuniversity PhD Program in Art History 2020-2021 Speaker Series, “What Art Histories for Present Times?” with Denise Ferreira da Silva on February 18, 2021.

Talk title: Corpus Infinitum

Denise Ferreira da Silva is an academic and practicing artist. She is a professor at the University of British Columbia and director of The Social Justice Institute. She is the author of Toward a Global Idea of Race (University of Minnesota Press, 2007), Unpayable Debt (Stenberg/MIT Press, 2021) and co-editor (with Paula Chakravartty) of Race, Empire, and the Crisis of the Subprime (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2013).
